What jobs and/or volunteer work do you do outside the Friends?
I help in the children’s department two mornings a week.
How long have you been with the friends?
Where did you grow up?
Where did you go to school?
I went to Roswell High School, New Mexico State University, and University of Oklahoma Health Sciences.
Tell us about your family.
I retired after 40 years in dietetics. I am married with 2 daughters, 1 step daughter, 1 step-son, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Do you have any pets?
Yes, I have a dog and a cat.
What are some of your hobbies?
I do needle work, jigsaw puzzles, Sudoku, cryptograms, and read.
What do you like to read?
A variety of books but mostly suspense, however I am branching out.
Why did you join the Friends of the Library?
I was volunteering at the library when the Friends was restarted in 2012.
What is your favorite part about being a part of the Friends of the Library?
Working at the book sale.
If you could do one thing for the library, and money was no object, what would it be?
I would complete the renovation that we planned 8 years ago.
