Children’s Art Smart Camp

This year for Spring Break we will be doing a FREE Art Smart Camp for all children PK-5th grade! It will be at 3:30 pm each day. Here is a little bit about what we will be doing!

Monday the 18th Print Making

Lear about Jose’ Guadalupe Posada and his Day of the Dead skull prints. We will then use found objects and fun foam to print on skull shapes.


Tuesday the 19th Pottery

Lear about pottery materials and techniques. Then make your own coil and pinch pots, and tray your had at slab construction.



Wednesday the 20th Pop Art

Pop Art is an art movement that challenges the traditions of fine art by including imagery from popular and mass culture. such as advertising, comic books, and mundane cultural objects. Use our comic books to decorate your own slap bracelet.


Thursday the 21st Cubism

Learn about Pablo Picasso and how to create cubist works of art. You may draw or cut comic books to create your own masterpiece.


Friday the 22nd Surrealism

Learn about Marc Chagall. Then use oil pastels and college to create your own dreamscape.
